This I believed was located by a cleaner on the floor of Picasso's studio one day, it was a prototype he had screwed up and thrown away in disgust.

There is a Spanish town named Gata. It bears a flag which I suppose alludes to its name but honestly, did they have to use so cartoonish a depiction of the noble beast?

My God! It looks like the label of a can of cat food! On the other hand, the motto can be read as if it refers to the cat rather than to the town: "very noble cat, very loyal" :)

Dear friends,
The city of Valencia, Carabobo State, Venezuela, has recently changed its flag, just because the old one resembled the Spanish national flag. Well, I hope that now the citizens of Valencia could feel free from the ghosts of the bloody Spanish dominion, but I'm afraid that they'll suffer from nightmares at the sight of what no doubt can be considered as one of the most ugly flags I've seen in months:
